This is Millie,( the small one!) just one of my 11 cats. She came with me from the U.K to Spain where I rescued my other 10 cats. (SEE BELOW) The plight of cats and dogs in Spain is dire. Please help any of the animal rescue centres in Spain if you can. Thank you

Jasmine, my beautiful Siamese. She was alone in a cage in a pet shop crying for her mother and siblings. Could not leave her there!!! Although she is quite small compared to other cats, she is certainly the boss, they all give her a wide berth! As a kitten she sucked my thumb and unfortunately I cannot seem to break the habit, she curls up in my arms like a baby and holds my thumb with her paws!
Mishka, found as a kitten starving and with an ulcer in his mouth so he could not eat. He has grown into a magnificent cat. Real eye candy!! More of a mans cat really. He is ferocious when it comes to catching rats!!! but a very gentle cat with people, you can do anything with him.
Leylah, she was also in a pet shop... I could not leave her either. Although I do not believe in buying animals from pet shops as it encourages senseless breeding here in Spain, but in this instance my heart ruled my head!!!
Sacha, he turned up at my gate starving and lost, as you can see he has settled in rather well and spends his time eating and sleeping!!!! He can do tricks though when he is not sleeping. He comes on call, sits and begs like a dog. He is then rewarded with a treat!.
Baby or Rocky as she was called until I found out she was a girl....She was TINY about 3 weeks old when I found her on the street and had to be bottle fed. As you can see she was so small that when I could not watch her I had to keep her in a box. This Bank & Olufsen speaker box was great. Pillow at one end with hot water bottle, food in the middle and a small tray at the other end for her toilet, although at first she was so small she did not even use it. Although reared from a kitten she still has wild tendencies. She has little tufts of hair at the top of her ears a bit like a lynx cat.
Archie, I found him as a kitten (6-8 weeks old) and I heard him crying somewhere outside on the road. Eventually I tracked him down to the wheel arch of a car...hence his name!!! Very affectionate and extremely laid back cat.
Millie, my English cat, originally from the RSPCA in Chobham Surrey. She has impeccable manners (well she is English) and she is now about 13 years old. When I first installed cat flaps in the house, Millie was the only one that knew how to use them... the other cats just stared at her in awe as if to say “Cool, how did you go through that wall?” but they soon worked it out!
Hanni, tuned up at my door with his partner in crime - Mickie, who sadly is no longer with us. They were covered in fleas, infested with worms and as thin as a rake. Could not get near Hanni for ages, now he is a real pussy cat and lets me do anything with him. He nearly lost an eye after a run in with a dog, but my vet managed to save it.
Amber - Cheetah look alike, long legs and built for speed. She was in a cage in a vet and I was told she was going to be put down if they could not find a home. Yes, you know the rest of the story.... When I brought her home she was very disorientated. I suppose being confined to a cage must have been a nightmare for her.
Misty, found as a kitten with Frodo below at the side of the road when I was out on a run. My car was being serviced at the time, so I had to run home and get some food and a cage and then run back to try and catch her. I then ran home with her crying in the cage all the way. Very very needy little girl, high maintenance for affection, which is difficult when you have 11 cats!!!
Frodo, who also turned out later to be a girl!!! Very timid, but very sweet natured cat. Her favourite place is on the small balcony in my bedroom or when its cold she retreats to her cosy bed underneath my bed.
Sadly over the years I have lost some of my “babies” due to road accidents, Roundup Poisoning (Spanish Gardener) and just old age.
